The Dunard Centre, Edinburgh's first purpose-built concert hall in over a century, has reached a significant milestone with the signing of a £162 million construction contract with Balfour Beatty.
Following a £40 million funding boost, construction is set to start within weeks on the site behind the historic Royal Bank of Scotland branch on St Andrew Square, with completion projected by 2029.
The Dunard Centre is dubbed as the "hall for all".
