Changan's Ambitious UK Dealer Plans
Changan aims to open 60 UK showrooms by the end of this year, becoming the latest Chinese brand to enter the UK market.
Nic Thomas, Changan's British boss, outlined the brand's growth plans for Europe on the Car Dealer Podcast.
Thomas explained what makes Changan different from its Asian rivals and pledged to put dealers at the heart of UK operations.
- 40 showrooms are currently signed up, with half already open.
- 20 additional showrooms are planned to open by the end of December.
Changan has signed franchise agreements with Lookers, Stoneacre, and Parks, with talks ongoing with larger chains.
