Injured Timberwolves Star Edwards to Miss at Least a Week

Minnesota guard Anthony Edwards will miss at least a week of the NBA season due to a strained right hamstring.

Edwards suffered the injury in a victory over Indiana, where he played only three minutes and scored five points.

He was removed from the game due to right hamstring tightness and an MRI exam at the Mayo Clinic revealed the extent of the injury.

Edwards will be reevaluated in one week, causing him to miss several games, including against Denver, the Los Angeles Lakers, and Charlotte.

The Timberwolves are currently 2-1 in the 2025-26 campaign.

Edwards will miss Minnesota's games at home Monday against Denver and Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers as well as Saturday at Charlotte.

Author's summary: Edwards out for a week with hamstring strain.
