Scott Woods, one of Canada's finest fiddlers, is preparing for his upcoming Christmas tour. When former musical collaborators Gary and Nadine Boles, who are now retired, didn't take his request to join the tour seriously, Woods shared the story in a recent phone interview with The Sault Star.
According to Woods, the Boles are "living the good life, travelling in the big motorhome" and didn't think he was serious about the invitation. Woods had told them that vocalist Naomi Bristow, a regular on his tours, was unavailable due to recently giving birth.
The Christmas tour will include stops in Sault and Bruce Mines.
