The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced in a press release that 12 individuals have been federally charged with engaging in violence and civil disorder against law enforcement officers and property during immigration enforcement actions in Southern California.
According to the press release, issued by Acting United States Attorney Bilal A. Essayli, the arrests were made in connection with three criminal complaints across South California.
No additional comments were made by the DOJ.
