China's last two representatives at the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open were sent out of the tournament on Wednesday. No 1 seed Belinda Bencic marched on after beating Wang Yafan.

- Belinda Bencic defeated Wang Yafan in one hour and 16 minutes (6-2, 6-2).

Bencic's victory marks her sixth win in a row, after winning the Japan Open. She continues to climb into the world top 10, after being ranked '913 or something' a year ago.
