Malawi's newly elected Speaker of Parliament, Sameer Suleman, has pledged to restore the integrity of the National Assembly and serve the needs of ordinary Malawians.
Speaking in his first interview with Parliament Television, Suleman described his appointment as "both an honour and a challenge" he is ready to face head-on.
His leadership will prioritize strengthening the oversight role of Parliament to ensure transparency, accountability, and effective governance.
Suleman previously served as a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture.
