A fast-moving fire occurred at a home on Pinetree Lane in Roslyn Heights on Wednesday morning, causing serious injuries to two firefighters and displacing three residents, according to officials.

The Nassau County Fire Communications received multiple 911 calls regarding flames on the rear deck of 47 Pinetree Lane at around 9:04 a.m., as stated by the Albertson Fire Department.

Assistant Chief Thomas Falls led the initial response, arriving to find heavy fire conditions engulfing the back of the two-story home.
