Honoring the Past, Imagining the Future: New Downtown Mural

The Fayetteville Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has issued a Call for Artists and Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for a professional muralist or team to design and install a new exterior mural at 119 South Glynn Street in downtown Fayetteville.

The new mural will replace the city's first large-scale mural, painted 30 years ago by local artisans Patsy and Ed Gullett, which captured the city's historic buildings and Southern charm.

The new artwork will mark an exciting new chapter in the city’s story, coinciding with ongoing revitalization efforts and reflecting Fayetteville’s motto, “No Limits on Imagination.”

The project is part of the city's downtown revitalization efforts.

Author's summary: Fayetteville gets a new mural.
