Bradley Ingersoll has been found guilty in a contraband cigarettes case and handed a fine.
The Whitecourt Court of Justice heard the case, which involved possessing unstamped tobacco. The Alberta Court of Justice received a plea from Ingersoll during its sitting in Whitecourt.
There will be a guilty plea to count two.
Ingersoll was charged with selling or possessing unstamped tobacco under the Excise Act. The case began when the RCMP performed a curfew check, which led to a traffic stop on Ingersoll, resulting in the seizure of his vehicle and arrest.
