18th International Symposium on Translational Research in Oncology
The event took place at the Herbert Park Hotel in Dublin from September 24-26, 2025, and was organised by the Cancer Clinical Research Trust and DCU.
More than 35 internationally renowned speakers attended, including DCU researcher Denis Collins and experts from UCLA and Harvard Medical School.
The symposium was opened by DCU Chair of Translational Oncology Prof John Crown and featured presentations from notable speakers such as:
- Dr. Slamon, 2019 Lasker Award winner and Director of Clinical/Translational Research at UCLA
- Dr. Douglas Hanahan, 2025 winner of the Pezcoller Foundation–AACR International Award for Extraordinary Achievement in Cancer Research
