Linton and Love Defend Doubles Title
Anna Linton and Richard Love successfully defended their mixed doubles senior pro title at the 2025 Knotty’s English Nationals pickleball tournament.
The pair remained undefeated throughout the competition, ultimately defeating Tracy Walker and Ian Marshall 11-1, 11-8 in the final.
“We know Tracy really well, but haven’t played Ian too much, and he doesn’t really play pickleball like other players we played in the competition,”
Love noted, adding that Marshall's table tennis background and unique playing style posed a challenge.

“Towards the end, we started getting a bit tired and perhaps didn’t focus as much in the last game because it had been a long day.”
Despite the challenges, Linton and Love held their ground and played crucial shots to secure their victory.
