Libya's Attorney General Orders Detention of Acting Education Minister
Libya’s Attorney General, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour, has ordered the detention of Ali Al-Abed, the Acting Minister of Education, pending investigation into alleged irregularities and negligence in managing contracts for printing school textbooks.
- Al-Abed is also the Director-General of the Center for Educational Curricula and Research.
