Donegal Woman Speaks Out Against Abuse
A Donegal woman has shared her traumatic experience of being subjected to horrific incidents by her step-grandfather.
The girl, who was between nine and 10 years old, was forced to watch as he performed sexual acts on himself while dressed in woman’s clothing.
According to the Letterkenny Circuit Court, the man bribed the girl with money and presents to keep the incidents quiet, threatening that some family members could be killed if she spoke out.
The woman remains in "constant fear" due to the ordeal.
