Four Early Voting Takeaways in NYC, By The Numbers
Newly registered voters turned out in large numbers, while unaffiliated voters were less likely to vote early.
More than 732,000 New Yorkers cast their ballots during the nine-day early voting period, accounting for nearly 14% of the city's 5.3 million registered voters.
This year's early voting turnout is 65% of the total votes cast in the 2021 general election, where
Democrat Eric Adams crushed Republican Curtis Sliwa.
