DJ Carey Jailed for Fraud and Forgery
DJ Carey has been sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison for multiple counts of fraud and forgery.
According to Judge Martin Nolan, Carey's scam was particularly heinous, as he took advantage of people's kindness by falsely claiming he had cancer and needed money for treatment.

- Over €44,000 has been reimbursed to the victims.

Carey's defence attorney noted that he had experienced a significant decline and was now considered a pariah.
