Umatilla Man Dies in Head-On Collision on Highway 395

According to the preliminary investigation, Tyler John Garrett, 24, of Hermiston, was driving a Volkswagen Passat southbound when he crossed into the northbound lane and struck a northbound Nissan 370 head-on.

- Hadasa Esther Sanchez, 25, of Umatilla, was driving the Nissan and suffered injuries, also taken to an area hospital.
