Prop 50 Co-Author Urges People to Vote
Assemblymember Gregg Hart, co-author of Proposition 50, is urging people to vote in the Special Election in California.
Hart, along with State Senator Monique Limón, worked to introduce Prop 50 after Texas added conservative seats to the House of Representatives.
"It is a really important election and I'm glad that we are going to be celebrating soon, the polls are still open, we want people to get out and vote,"
said Hart outside the Santa Barbara County Courthouse.
About Proposition 50
Proposition 50 authorizes temporary changes to Congressional Districts Maps and is the only issue on the Special Election ballot in California.
