LABF Introduces Grant Program to Help Preserve Broadcast History

The Library of American Broadcasting Foundation (LABF) has launched a new grant program, the Preservation Grant Initiative, to support the preservation, digitization and public accessibility of America’s broadcast history.

With support from the Broadcast Education Association, LABF will award up to four grants of $2,500 each to assist organizations and individuals working to preserve and share historically-significant radio and television materials.

The preserved materials must chronicle broadcasting’s role in shaping culture, news, entertainment and democracy.

The Preservation Grant Initiative requires recipients to make the materials, information or research supported by the grant available to the public.
