Government to Join Forces with Employers
The government has announced a partnership with employers to tackle ill-health and keep Britain working, in response to Sir Charlie Mayfield's Keep Britain Working Review.
This three-year partnership will involve over 60 major and numerous small employers working with the government to address ill-health issues.
Key Objectives
- Address ill-health that is pushing people out of work and holding back growth
- Reshape how health issues and disabilities are managed in the workplace
- Focus on prevention, early support, and better returns to work
The employer-led vanguards initiative aims to help more people stay in employment and boost UK disability inclusion.
The partnership will help keep Britain working.
