National Service of Remembrance, Sunday 9 November 2025
The National Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday, 9 November 2025, at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. and honors the service and sacrifice of British and Commonwealth military and civilian personnel who served during both world wars and in later conflicts.
The event is organized by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) in cooperation with government partners, the Armed Forces, and veteran organizations.
Attendance Information
- No tickets or passes are required to attend.
- The public can view the ceremony from designated areas along Whitehall and Parliament Street.
- All attendees must undergo security checks and access may be restricted once the area reaches capacity.
Viewing Screens
Large screens will be placed at key points to ensure visibility for all spectators:
- North of the Cenotaph near the green area in front of the statue of Field Marshal Montgomery.
- In the lay-by outside Dover House, situated between Horse Guards and Downing Street.
- Near the junction of Whitehall Place.
