The International Cricket Council (ICC) recently published the latest T20I player rankings for men, highlighting Abhishek Sharma and Varun Chakravarthy as the top performers among batters and bowlers respectively.
Young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma leads the batters' list with 925 rating points, ahead of England’s Phil Salt and Tilak Verma. Another Indian, T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, holds the eighth position in the top 10.
Spinner Varun Chakravarthy remains the highest-ranked T20I bowler. Australia’s Josh Hazlewood climbed two places to reach the 10th spot, credited to his strong performances against India at home. Behind Chakravarthy are West Indies’ Akeal Hosain and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan. Notably, no other Indian bowler appears in the top rankings.
In the allrounder category, Hardik Pandya is the only Indian among the top 10, positioned at number four.
