To celebrate the physical release of her third solo album, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, Hayley Williams surprised fans by releasing an additional track titled “Showbiz.” The album was officially issued on vinyl today, accompanied by special events at record stores worldwide called “Ego Nite.”

“Showbiz” was co-written by Williams and producer Daniel James, who collaborated on the entire album. The song portrays a romantic encounter amid the fog and strobe lights of a club.
“I wanna do it again/I wanna dance in the strobe lights/I wanna choke on the smoke/And feel your eyes on me,” Williams sings, later questioning if the moment was equally significant to her partner.
This track follows earlier surprise additions “Good Ol Days” and “Parachute,” which were included after the initial 17-song summer release through Williams’ label, Post Atlantic, and distributed by Secretly Distribution.
