Brian Keeling, a dedicated volunteer at the Museum of the Highwood, passed away at the age of 93. His contributions and steady presence will be deeply missed by the community.
Keeling began volunteering at the museum in 2011, committing three mornings each week. Over the years, he catalogued more than 29,000 artifacts and photographs, an essential task following a fire in 2010 and a flood in 2013 that compromised many items which were not fully backed up.
Irene Kerr, the museum's director and curator for 17 years, worked closely with Keeling and shared many experiences throughout those challenging times.
